Industrial Commission Online Network Representative Guide

What is a Representative Proxy?

The Industrial Commission allows a representative to designate a proxy to represent the injured worker or employer for a particular claim at hearing.

A proxy may file an appeal for a claim and/or view claim activity for that claim while the claim is being processed at the Industrial Commission.

A proxy is not an authorized rep for the claim and will not receive copies of hearing notices or orders.

In order for a representative to assign proxy rights:

  • The claim must have an issue coming to hearing at the IC.
  • The rep giving proxy rights must be an active rep for the IW or the employer.
  • The rep getting proxy rights must not be an active rep for the IW or the employer.
  • The authorized representative must know the Rep ID for the proxy representative in order to make the designation.
