Ohio Industrial Commission Claims Examiner Supervisor Named November 2026 Employee of the Month

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Industrial Commission congratulates Samantha Stover, Claims Examiner Supervisor in the Cambridge District Office, on being named Employee of the Month for November 2026.

Stover was nominated by one of her coworkers and chosen for the award by the agency's Employee of the Month Committee.

“I would like to nominate Samantha Stover as Employee of the Month,” Samantha's Employee of the Month nominator began. “Samantha is consistently eager to help, not only when asked, but proactively.”

“A couple of notable examples include asking our newest hire if she would like to help her with printing the docket sheets, processing return mail and processing incoming supply orders,” Samantha's nominator continued. “Samantha regularly goes beyond her role by offering guidance, sharing knowledge, and supporting teammates to ensure everyone succeeds.”

“When asked a Claims Examining question, she always provides where in the procedure or meeting notes we can locate our answer,” the nominator added. “Her cheerful outlook, reliability, and team-first mindset make a meaningful impact in our office. Samantha exemplifies what Employee of the Month represents.”

Stover is the Claims Examiner Supervisor for the Cambridge District Office. She started her career at the Ohio Industrial Commission in October 2016. Her supervisor is Ken Carpenter, Administrative Officer 2 in the Akron Regional Office.
