Ohio Industrial Commission Operations Support Duo Named July 2026 Employees of the Month

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Industrial Commission congratulates Operation Support staff Christopher Artis, Mover 1, and Artis Cain Jackson, Inventory Control Specialist 2, on being named Employees of the Month for July 2026.

Christopher and Artis were nominated by one of their coworkers and chosen for the award by the agency's Employee of the Month Committee.

“Both of these guys were recently in our office to set up pods for new employees and move existing employees' pods and did so without complaint. They completed their tasks with the utmost professionalism in an expedited fashion,” Christopher and Artis' nominator wrote.

“They were very patient and communicative with our employees to get the job done,” their nominator added. “Every encounter I have had with Christopher and Artis have been pleasant.”

“They completed the work with great detail to the employees' needs. I think coming into the different offices around the IC and doing the heavy lifting to make employees comfortable in their workspaces is an important job that deserves recognition and employee of the month,” their nominator concluded.

Christopher Artis is a Mover 1 in Operations Support and started at the IC in September 2024.

Artis Cain Jackson is an Inventory Control Specialist 2 in Operations Support and started at the IC in November 2013.

Their supervisor is Jason Gloyd, Director of Operations Support.
