Ohio Industrial Commission Staff Hearing Officer Named May 2026 Employee of the Month

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Industrial Commission congratulates Ellen Donahie, Staff Hearing Officer in the Columbus Regional Office, on being named Employee of the Month for May 2026.

Donahie was nominated by one of her coworkers and chosen for the award by the agency's Employee of the Month Committee.

“I'd like to nominate Ellen Donahie, Staff Hearing Officer, for Employee of the Month,” Ellen's Employee of the Month nominator wrote. “Ellen has a warm and welcoming presence that makes the workplace brighter for everyone.”

“Even when she's busy, she takes time to greet others, offer guidance, and answer questions with patience and care,” Ellen's nominator continued. “Her kindness, approachability, and non-judgmental nature make her someone people feel comfortable turning to, and she helps create a positive and supportive environment for colleagues.”

Donahie is a Staff Hearing Officer in the Columbus Regional Office. She started her career at the IC in April 2018. Her supervisor is Felicity Hillmer, Columbus Regional Office Manager.
