Notice of Public Hearing

The Ohio Industrial Commission (OIC) will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 9th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., William Green Building, 30 West Spring Street, L-2, Room 1, Columbus, Ohio to consider the following:

The Amendments of the following rules:

• 4121-3-16 Motions
  The aforementioned rule is proposed for amendment to update terminology contained within the code.


• 4121-3-18 Administrative Appeals
  The aforementioned rule is proposed for amendment to provide for electronic notification.


• 4121-3-20 Additional Awards by Reason of Violations of Specific Safety Requirements
  The aforementioned rule is proposed for amendment to update methods of sending applications.


• 4121-3-30 Emergency Hearings
  The aforementioned rule is proposed for amendment to provide for electronic notification.


• 4121-3-34 Permanent Total Disability
  The aforementioned rule is proposed for amendment to provide for changes in R.C. 4123.58(G).


• 4121-15-10 Standards of Conduct for Adjudicators
  The aforementioned rule is proposed for amendment to update terminology contained within the code.

In addition, the text of the proposed rules may be viewed by accessing the Ohio Industrial Commission's website at www.ic.ohio.gov.

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. Any interested party unable to attend the public hearing may submit written comments via email to rulecomments@ic.ohio.gov prior to the hearing.
