Ohio Industrial Commission Customer Service Supervisor Named January 2026 Employee of the Month

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Industrial Commission congratulates Jelena Bojanikj, Customer Service Supervisor in the Columbus Regional Office, on being named Employee of the Month for January 2026.

Bojanikj was nominated by one of her coworkers and chosen for the award by the agency's Employee of the Month Committee.

“Jelena is a terrific supervisor who goes above and beyond for her team,” Jelena's nominator wrote. “She is always happy to help us or the public in resolving any concerns or issues.”

“She is always here to listen to any issue and provides us the help we need. Customer Service has gone through a very difficult time this past year with people being absent or on disability, and she has helped and guided us every step of the way with a smile on her face,” Jelena's Employee of the Month nominator continued.

Bojanikj started at the IC in March 2024. This is her first time being named as the Ohio Industrial Commission's Employee of the Month. Her supervisor is April Heckert, Program Administrator 3.
