Ohio Industrial Commission Toledo Hearing Administrator Named November 2025 Employee of the Month

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Industrial Commission congratulates Melinda Graff, Hearing Administrator in the Toledo Regional Office, on being named Employee of the Month for November 2025.

Graff was nominated by one of her coworkers and chosen for the award by the agency's Employee of the Month Committee.

“I would like to nominate Melinda Graff, Hearing Administrator, for Employee of the Month,” Melinda's Employee of the Month nominator shared. “From the start, she has been patient, kind, and always willing to take the time to answer questions or share her perspective.”

“As a newer hearing officer, I've really valued her wisdom and thoughtful guidance; she is often the first person I turn to for advice,” Graff's nominator continued. “Melinda's support has not only helped me grow in my role but has also made a real difference in how supported and encouraged I feel at work.”

Graff is a Hearing Administrator in the Toledo Regional Office. She started her career at the IC in August 1995. Her supervisor is Regional Manager Mara Spidel.

Melinda has been named as Employee of the Month four times in her thirty-plus years at the Ohio Industrial Commission.
