Notice of Public Hearing

The Ohio Industrial Commission (OIC) will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., William Green Building, 30 West Spring Street, L-2, Room 1, Columbus, Ohio to consider the following:

The Amendments of the following rules:

  • 4121-1-01 Notice procedure for the adoption, amendment or rescission of rules.
    The OIC is proposing the amendment of Ohio Adm.Code 4121-1-01 to provide the public with access via the internet to proposed rule adoption, amendment or rescission of rules.

  • 4121-1-02 Notice of public meetings.
    The OIC is proposing the amendment of Ohio Adm.Code 4121-1-02 to provide requestors the ability to receive notice of Industrial Commission meetings via electronic mail.

  • 4121-1-03 Non-adjudicatory meetings of the industrial commission.
    The OIC is proposing the amendment of Ohio Adm. Code 4121-1-03 to clarify the Industrial Commission’s discretion to conduct regular meetings as well as update the process for the keeping of minutes utilizing current technological advancements.

  • 4121-3-01 Office locations, office hours, and scope of rules.
    The OIC is proposing the amendment of Ohio Adm. Code 4121-3-01 to be consistent with the updated emergency clause contained within the updated Industrial Commission teleworking policy.

In addition, the text of the proposed rules may be viewed by accessing the Industrial Commission’s website at www.ic.ohio.gov.

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. Any interested party unable to attend the public hearing may submit written comments via email to rulecomments@ic.ohio.gov prior to the hearing.
