Notice of Public Hearing

The Industrial Commission of Ohio will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., to consider the following rules as summarized below:

This Public Hearing will take place via conference call as a precaution to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), in accordance with Section 12 of emergency legislation Am. Sub. H.B. 197 as signed by Governor Mike DeWine effective March 27, 2020.

The Amendments of the following rules:

  • Amend: 4121-3-13 Disputed self-insuring employers' claims
  • Amend: 4121-3-20 Additional awards by reason of violations of specific safety requirements
  • Amend: 4121-3-34 Permanent total disability
The proposed amendments reflect the recent changes in HB 81. Additionally, changes were made to reflect grammatical changes and to maintain consistent terminology throughout the rules.
