Ohio Industrial Commission Will Close December 24 and 31

COLUMBUS – The Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC) will be closed for business on Thursday, December 24 and Thursday, December 31, 2009.

These closures are part of the State of Ohio’s Cost Savings Day Program and are one of many initiatives implemented to address budget challenges.

The closures affect all 12 IC offices located throughout the state.

The Industrial Commission will also close on December 25 and January 1 due to the holidays. The IC will be open regular business hours December 21 through 23 and December 28 through 30.

IC to Host Public Forum on IC Docketing and Continuance Process

COLUMBUS – The Industrial Commission of Ohio (IC) will host an open forum to hear your thoughts on how we may modify the current docketing and continuance processes. Changes may be made to the processes based on your comments, so it’s your chance to be heard!

The forum is scheduled for Friday, December 18, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the William Green Building, located at 30 W. Spring Street in Columbus.

Parties interested in participating in the public forum are encouraged to attend and provide comment. Please note, no plans or proposals will be presented by IC leadership at the forum. The event is designed strictly to solicit your improvement suggestions.
